David Haye and Dereck Chisora will settle their differences in the ring after agreeing to a heavyweight grudge fight on 14 July at Upton Park.
Neither fighter holds a British Boxing Board of Control licence following their infamous press-conference brawl in Munich, but the Luxembourg Boxing Federation will sanction the bout at West Ham's ground.
Chisora's licence was withdrawn after the ugly clash following his defeat by Vitali Klitschko in February, while Haye relinquished his licence when he retired last October - three months after Wladimir Klitschko took his WBA belt.
But Haye will return to clear up this simmering feud and he vowed to punish Chisora during a heated press conference which saw both men separated by a seven-foot steel fence.
"He is the ideal opponent for me," said Haye.
"I am so glad he has got a good chin because if he didn't have a good chin he would be blasted out in first round. This means I will give him a nice, slow, concussive beating.
"I tried to knock him out in Munich and this is the opportunity to shut him up."
Chisora responded: "Talk is cheap now. That was a lucky shot he hit me with in Munich.
"David: you are winning 1-0 but come July I am coming to whoop your butt. Your talk is cheap. You always talk but you don't deliver in the ring."
Promoter Frank Warren insists he has not undermined boxing chiefs in this country.
"This is not the end of British boxing," he said. "It will be a sell out, a huge event."
